I have already programmed several Minecraft servers and everything went smoothly. Now we want to play 5 on one and with 8 GB Ram and Mods it gets a little harder. So I installed the server on a friend's PC because it has 32GB Ram and it would run much smoother.
Now we did everything as usual and my friend (the host) was able to play on this server without any problems. However, when I join I'm in the world for a few seconds and then I get kicked with the following error message: Internal execption: java.io.IOExecption: An existing connection was canceled under software control by the host computer.
Now I ask myself, although I did everything as usual, which could be because my other friends couldn't do it either. Tried Hamachi and anything.
Maybe try restarting the router? Maybe it could work

No. Did it work? If not, then all of your routers will restart
Your buddy may not have released his ports, but it may also be that the firewall is taking effect and the connection to you is interrupted.
