I play Minecraft with a colleague, we play my world which I open in Lan, we both have the same mods and configs and in the same network everything works fine.
Now I have seen that you can open the ports in the Fritzbox so that my colleague can enter my IP Minecraft in his network and so we can play LAN over the other network.
Now to the problem, I did everything exactly as I did in tutorials. The port in the Fritzbox opened, etc. But my colleague can't join me neither via the IP that is in the Fritzbox, nor the IP that you find on pages that show your own IP or the IP in the PC. IP: Port to be entered does not work either, the message "No further information" is always displayed
Does anyone know why this is or how I open the world correctly in Lan over the Internet?
Doesn't work to my knowledge get a server (either on your computer or via Minehut, ploudos, aternos, minehub, etc.)
Your friend can then join
It should work on ploudos otherwise search in the forum for create server
Doenloade you a server on your computer start it as long as you put the mods in the correct file are the same on the server. (I point out YouTube tutorials
You then have to do a forge server
Is a Forge server. It is only indicated that there are broken mods, which can't be
Maybe some mods are not compatible with the Forge version from the server
Do you have a link to a tutorial?
It works - for everyone… Sometimes the paths are different, but it always works
If something doesn't work, it's either
an ancient manual,
or your port forwarding is incorrect,
or something is blocked in the firewall,
or you did not assign the correct IP,
or you have DS-Lite
but also with DS-Lite there are ways…
Have different instructions from different time periods but everything not older than 5 months.
I have repeated port release determined 10 times that was always correct
We have tried all 3ips those from the PC WLAN router and which can be read out on the Internet
Firewall on the PC is completely deactivated
I don't know what a dslite is
DS-Lite prevents the accessibility of your external IP…
you can click on the IP that your fellow players need
https://www.wieistmeineip.de/
read off…
if there's no IPv4 at the top, in the middle, then you can't host over it either…
Isn't it Forge, is it?
It doesn't matter, you just have to download a Forge server - it's just an example for Vanilla
The execution actually remains the same
I'll try it out, thank you
