Minecraft world spawning point does not work?

Recently, I played Minecraft with friends and was killed in a cave, whereupon I set a world spawn point there next time. Somehow, when I'm killed, I'll spawn in my house anyway! Can someone help me, because that's the way it is with the others, cheats are activated and everything is as usual?

Do you have a bed?

The bed sets your spawn point once you're in it! Of course you can also use the command / spawnpoint. But if you did one of the things in the cave but then did one of the things at your house anyway, the old spawn point has been deleted. If you're using a server with Essentials, use / back
