Edit Minecraft vanilla Worldborder?

Have not dealt with a Minecraft server in years.
Now I have put on a 1.12 again and found that there's a world border in MC that you can change with. To my dismay, what I didn't read before was the fact that Minecraft Worldborder makes no distinction between worlds. If I bet as a World Border in a world with an edge length of 2000 blocks, it is the same in every world.

After I then noticed that the border is set to 2000 blocks in every world, I simply installed a plugin with which I can set my own border in each world.

But now I keep finding that the original Worldborder in different worlds is not set at 60,000,000,000 blocks, although I have already set it several times with the set command. I sometimes reach the border after 2-3 minutes with the / fly command.

Is there somewhere to set the border in a config instead of using the console?

Unfortunately you did not reveal which plugin you are using. With the plugin worldborder, setting the world borders works perfectly. To do this, you have to be in the respective world and ingame e.g. Enter / worldborder set 3000. Maybe you have to add the world name, but the plugin gives hints if it is set incorrectly. At 3000, the world then has an all-round limit of 3000 blocks.

Further settings are possible in the config, where the worlds with the borders are also displayed.

It is imperative to create an ingame. This does not work from the console, since you have to be in the world.

I have the Worldborder command in Vanilla Minecraft.
I have now additionally installed a plugin, because I need a different border in every world.
The Vanilla Worldborder is set the same in all worlds.

I have read in various threads that the border can obviously only be "moved" with the console but not deleted.
It would be enough for me if the border was 60 million blocks away from the center. Unfortunately, that doesn't work for me.

Oh sorry, I didn't read correctly. I have no idea about vanilla. Sorry

I've done it several times with 60 million and still I'm on the border after a short time

60 million is the maximum value

Problem solved by accident.
Elsewhere I got the hint that the MC world can be a maximum of 60 million blocks. Since I started from this size, I always tried to set the border to this size.

By chance I just saw in server.properties that my worlds are only 30 million blocks big. World Border with the size set and it worked.
