I wanted to ask why the TPS is very low on my server.
Specs:
CPU: i3 350M 2.27Ghz 2C / 4T
Ram: 4gb ddr3
120gb ssd
x64 Windows
So actually it should run without any problems but there's always this error see photo. Spigot 1.16.3 is installed there with 6 plugins.
Plugins:
CraftEnhanced
instant melt
luckperms
sethomes
tpa
worldedit
I don't know why that is, but ingame it is pretty lagging and me and a friend play on it.
Your processor is pretty bad and Minecraft doesn't particularly benefit from MultiThread; H. It looks like your CPU is barely busy, but in real life 90% is running on a thread that is completely busy, so there's lag.
Unfortunately, there's not much you can do, your CPU is just not that good, but I would recommend…
a) to use the paper server client (which has significantly better performance)
b) Lower the Render Distance in server.properties a bit
The server will not run perfectly on the CPU afterwards either, but it will be a bit better.
CPU is just too weak
Don't you think an Intel core 2 Quad Mobile will do that, I don't know exactly which one I have to look right away?
It depends on which one is exactly but it won't be much better.
If the server is running on a different laptop, you could also have it run in the background on your computer if your PC is noticeably better.
So it has 3 GHz which should actually be better
But it doesn't just depend on it.
