Is this world already on the server? It must not be the main world, you can't import it because it is created at the first start.
You can only import new worlds, these must first be transferred to the server via FTP, must not be called "world" and are then imported normally with / mv import worldname. After that you can teleport as admin / owner with mvtp world name.

Usually you always arrive at the 1st world when you log in, provided there's no 2nd world where you have logged out. Within the 1st world you can't port with / mvtp, you need a different plugin, e.g. EssentialsX.
