Multiverse problem with world creation?

I recently set up a Tekkit Classic Refined Server. (Minecraft 1.12.2)

Since I have a raw material and a city world in addition to the main world, I use Multiverse.

Now I've tested a lot with Multiverse but the worlds I create with Multiverse always give the impression that I'm working with a Minecraft 1.8 version.
The flora and fauna look completely different in the single player than on the server. (World left out, it's like in single player).

Example, in the desert or steppe there's a kind of quicksand or bog.
But there are neither in the world that I created with Multiverse.

The import of a world that has certain features of the TCR version in the single player has also disappeared after the import.

Are there any settings that I overlook? Who can help me?

Multiverse probably generates the worlds like the normal Vanilla Minecraft. I also don't know how exactly you could change that. However, you could first create the worlds in single player and then import them with Multiverse. But I'm generally not sure if Multiverse supports mods at all.

Ok I ignored in your question that the import does not work either
