Even though I have fed turtles at the spawn point, the fat one immediately crumbles into the water. I've been waiting for days for her to come back and lay her eggs, but nothing happens. I've followed her too, but she only swims back and forth where she went into the water. I didn't change anything at the spawn point either. Does anyone know any advice? I've already created a new world and tried it the same way.
Turtles always breed where they were born. This can be tens of thousands of blocks away, but she wouldn't find it there, so they don't groom. In addition, the surface must be sand, other materials are not suitable.
The best thing is to take an egg and create it yourself, then it will work with the offspring.
Even that does nothing. When I feed the turtles from the egg, they don't lay eggs. Then they just stay fat. Nothing changes even after several Minecraft days.
I also have normal sand as a subsoil / breeding ground, where the first eggs hatched before, but nothing happens.
Could you have set spawn mobs to false somewhere?
No, not that either. Could it be the texture pack or my game version? I have the Windows 10 version… But then the critters shouldn't get fat either… Or? Maybe I should reinstall the game… I'm really desperate
Then use Google for your question and read the description of your game version. A new installation will not help if the feature is not supported.
