Thanks to corona and I'm currently pretty bored. I also thought I could plunge into a world apart from Minecraft and Overwatch. So I took the courage and decided to read a book again after a long time.
There's only one problem: which one?
As you read in the question, I like fantasy. Preferably something with a kite. It should also be more of a combat action. And the drama should take up as few lines as possible, ideally even without love. (So woe to those who get me Twilight here).
Can you help me there?
If you want something that is amusing and goes beyond the boundaries of stereotypes, I recommend Terry Pratchett's Disk World novels.
I can also highly recommend these two books:
Try out the Percy Jackson books, this is my favorite book series. Has something to do with Grichiescher Mythology and takes place around 2005. Occasionally there are even dragons.
The dragon riders from Pern.
Not just fighting, but if you want to get involved with the world, one of the best series I've read so far.
Those who like fantasy can't avoid the "disc world" novels by Pratchett. Intelligent, funny and there's something for everyone.
Here you will always find real pearls, apart from the 08/15 mainstream.

If fantasy, then Harry Potter
Yes, but I read that a long time ago.
I would recommend the Vampire Academy to you, although there are romantic and dramatic actions, but also a lot of fight scenes and exciting things. I literally searched through the books. (There are no dragons in it)
Thanks for the asterisk.
