In one of my worlds, exactly one chunk 16x16x16 has disappeared in the middle of my house (not the entire chunk). Can you restore that, I just installed optifine via forge. I wanted to use one of the redstone circuits and my game crashed. When I restarted it, the chunk that contained the circuit was gone. Parts of rooms in my house were also affected and it was easy to spend a few hours playing for the red button circuit, so it would be a real shame if that were irreversible. Anyone knows a solution I'm really desperate
I assume you re-entered the world with the wrong game version. Then you can't do anything anymore.
In addition - Why do you install Optifine via Forge?
It's probably a bug if you install the Optifine Pre versions in Forge.

Seems to be irreversible. But you can try opening the world in Vanilla, maybe you are lucky.
PS: You don't need a Forge to use only Optifine. Optifine has an installer.
Packing Optifine in the mods folder from forge to play with both forge and optifine is a fairly common method. And I can almost certainly tell you that it was the right version
I used forge because i used worldedit to build, i was finished building and wanted to take a few pictures, so i installed optifine. I have already opened the world in a normal version and also transferred the region datein to another world. But thanks anyway for the answer
So you also used other mods? Could have been because of them.
Ok I've read the comment on github times, seems to be similar to mine
Then I'm sorry that I couldn't help. I think the Optifine pre versions are just not suitable for Forge…
Was just worldedit. The Github link MrAmazing2 sent shows exactly the same thing seems to be a problem with Optifine prereleases. I'll make me build a new one. However thank you for your help
