Minecraft nether warts?

So a few days ago a new world started and I also went to the Nether for a brewing booth I had a journey of over 1000 blocks in the Nether behind me and also looted everything in the fortress but got no nether warts, there's still a possibility of warts come?

Usually there are nether warts in every nether fortress. However, you can also easily find it in Nether Soulsand with nether warts.

Find a new fortress.

There's more than just a fortress in the nether. Just look for the next one.

There need not be any in every fortress. Similar to villages, the fortresses are of different sizes and have different amounts of loot. Possibly. None at all. Likewise, you may find a fortress without a blaze spawner.

Usually you don't run 1000 blocks in one direction to get to a fortress. You have probably just chosen the worst direction.
