I recently set up a Nether, but when I go into the Nether and then go back out I suddenly end up somewhere else (in the upper world) I tried to destroy this Nether Portal that was simply regenerated. I then went back into the Nether and I'm spawned back where I was before, only that one was generated right next to the destroyed Nether Portal. Can one please help me?

One block forward in the Nether is 8 blocks forward in the Overworld. Maybe you understand a little more…
