While a minecraft world was open on my PC, the PC crashed, as so often in WIN 10, again, and restarted. When I opened Minecraft after rebooting, the world was gone. Is there a way to restore or insert them via the automatically created folders?
If it is not in the saves folder, there's nothing left to save.
"as so often with WIN 10"
Eh, no? Should check your calculator times if that happens more often.

mine never crashes and I used Win 10 even before the official release. Since I would check the calculator…

You can go to your Minecraft folder and look for the world there. Maybe a tool like Recuva will help
In the Minecraft folder, there's a folder Worlds / World / Worlds depending on which version and language you have is different, if there's nothing in it, it is gone!
It does not really happen "so much more often". But I hear from many people that they have the same problem. The world is still there in the "saves" folder. I would only be interested in if and how to reinsert them from there into Minecraft.
