I noticed that my character in Minecraft ALWAYS looks south when he dies and respawns. Is that normal?! I aligned myself 100% exactly to the north by command (/ tp @p 20 64 20 -90 0) with a view, then entered my personal spawn AND the world spawn at exactly this coordinate (/ setworldspawn + / spawnpoint).
But if I died and respawne the XYZ coordinate is correct, of course, but the view is south…
Can you change that? I also tried to enter the spawn command with an angle, but it doesn't work…

Can't you turn 90 degrees with a button or maybe even 180 degrees with minecraft? Because I think you would turn every time that even if you do that more often, it would still go faster than opening up here because of such a lapalie extra topic…

Yes that is normal. You can't change that.
In 1.16.2, however, a feature was added with which you can change the viewing direction. You have to be patient a little longer.
It works in 1.16.2 or with plugins.
