Why am I not fishing any treasures?

I have had a New Minecraft World for a few weeks. I'm fishing right now but I don't have a fishing rod. I only value fish and scrap, although I have already caught about 300 fish. Does anyone know why this is. By the way, the fishing rod has bait II.

Bait increases the chance of catching fish. To get treasure you need luck of the sea or an unenchanted fishing rod.

The pond must also be at least 5x5x5 blocks for treasures

The water must be deep enough, it needs at least 8x8x8 space. So 8 meters long, 8 meters wide and 8 meters high. On YT you can build automatic fishing farms, then it's faster.

They are actually slower than manual fishing. Because they always pull in the line at a certain interval, and it is completely coincidence whether a fish has just bitten.

But you can fish AFK for hours, that's the advantage.

Bait is good for fishing fish. To fish for treasures, luck of the sea is better.
