Minecraft Realm - Ps4, Xbox and PC?

A couple of buddies and I have been playing Minecraft together for some time. So far we have done it via the free multiplayer mode that you could join a person in his world. The problem was that the person had to be online so that the other players could join. We have Xbox, Ps4 and PC players and we were all able to play together.

I then created a realm where the Xbox and Pc users could easily join. However, the Ps4 players had the problem that they could not join the realm. I wanted to ask if anyone can help me with the problem. I actually haven't found any information about it.
