I and some friends play Minecraft, first Vanilla, then added a few small mods, now I wanted to add a mod that adds ores etc. My question is whether you can generate those in the world where you have already explored. Because where I was, the ores are there, but where I was, they are not there. Can you somehow make it possible to have the ores where you have already been?
What I know will only be generated in a new world
But I know that too, thanks
Yes if you know why do you ask
It works the same way.
They generate everywhere.
As far as I know, they can only be generated in chunks that have not yet been generated. Maybe even in Deep Dark / Beneath, if you haven't entered before.
If you go somewhere where you have never been, the area is generated first and the new ores could then be found there.
New content, whether ore or something else, is only generated from mods in newly loaded chunks.
You will not be able to find it in a world that has already been explored.
