Hello I'm new to Minecraft Java. Since I only played Minecraft Bedrock before, I don't really know my way around. Anyway, my computer has 2 graphics cards (Amd Radeon Vega 8 Graphics, Radeon RX 560X) a primary for everyday use (Amd Radeon Vega 8 Graphics) and one for gaming (Radeon RX 560X) and because the Amd program is the last bit dirty and doesn't work there's a setting in Windows (graphics setting) where you can manually search for the folder, at least someone knows where the minecraft file is or whether I should just use .minecraft
I wanted to tell you that you can easily adjust the graphics settings in the game under the settings
Yes you can if the pc or laptop is overwhelmed you can simply put the chunks down that works if you go to Settings / Graphics Settings / chunks and then pull the chunks so that they are less normal you can play well with 12 chunks at minigames
I researched again and saw the following:
Variant 1: On Windows graphics setting Activate this intelligent graphics card switch. Unfortunately, my Gaming Graka is also activated when I open the browser (I use 2 screens and my Gaming Graka can't be projected with the settings and draws a lot of power)
Variant 2: Install Optifine
Variant 3: Install an FPS Texture Pack
VERSION 4: Activate God mode and combine everything
And that's my story of how I can still play with 64 chunks but thanks anyway for your answer.
Oh ok unfortunately I'm still playing on mac which is why I couldn't help sry
