I have a realm in Minecraft and want to play on it on the go. Now I wonder if it wouldn't make sense to use my switch for that. In this case I would simply activate the "Mobile Hotspot" on my cell phone (S10 +) and use it as WLAN for the switch. Only I have the assumption that I will consume more data volume than if I play data on the realm directly on my mobile phone. I'm just not 100% sure. Maybe both use the same amount of data or vice versa?! It would be great if someone can tell me with reasons.
Hi. If you make a hotspot it uses more data volume than if you do it directly on your cell phone because the data volume still has to be connected and so more is lost
Thanks for the answer, but can you also explain to me why? Because I don't quite understand it.
By transmitting the Internet, data volume is consumed, so more is used overall.
Imagine someone with a hole.
You lose more water in it if you have to go a route with two locations than if you take a shorter route that includes only one location
Even if the explanation is wrong xd
