I just installed minecraft on my new PC, but without Java. But it still works without problems, why is that? I thought Minecraft needed java (…)?
Minecraft brings its own Java with the installation. So you can play it when it is just about the game. However, if you want to install mods etc., you can't avoid installing external Java
