How do I get to the end in Minecraft?

I don't know my way around very well yet… So far I've only set up the Nether Portal, but what do I need to get to the end? Tips and tricks would be very helpful too.

Take it in the creative end portal frame and build a 4x4 field on the ground. Then remove the 4 corners again and place ender eyes in the frame. Throw ender eyes in survival and follow where they fly until they stop. Then dig down and the portal should be finished. Just put in ender eyes.

But do I get to the end even without the creative mode?

Yes, it just takes a while to find the portal if you're new. This is very rare to find.

You have to find a stronghold and look for the end portal there

You come to the Stronghold by throwing ender eyes. You just have to follow them, but throw them sparingly because they can break. If an ender eye suddenly flies the other way, then you are close to the stronghold. Then you just have to dig your way down and look for stone bricks because the stronghold is made of stone bricks.

Ender eyes are crafted with an Ender pearl and a Blaze Rod

And how do I find that in survival?
