I would like to build a city and have planned to just grab villagers and transport them somewhere else (with a boat is fine) to let them live there. However. Run away. They sleep the first night in the house where you dump them, but as soon as it's daytime never come back…

Does anyone know?

Is it possible to relocate Villager since the new update?

In the worst case, I fences the whole city…

Do you have a bell and jobs in your village? There the villagers meet, that helps! It could have something to do with it, otherwise it would really build a wall.
