Minecraft always crashes because of Java what can I do?

The system notification says: Java (TM) Platform SE binary stops working

En

What Java version is installed?

And 32 or 64 bits?

Fr

Version 8 Update 221

an

It does not crash because of Java, but because of some error in the game.

Most likely, your RAM is full. To test this: Open Minecraft, enter a World / Server, and press F3 (or Fn + F3). This opens the screen where your coordinates are displayed. In the top right is the RAM usage in% (the number is getting bigger and then suddenly goes back). See if it is close to 100 in the crash - if so, that's it. Then let me know and I'll explain how to increase the RAM.

If not it is an error:

I'll help you now:

Open the Minecraft Launcher
Go to Settings on the bottom left
Activate "Open output protocol as soon as games start"
Click left again on "Minecraft: Java Edition", and then start the game.
In the "minecraft game output", which then opens, you deactivate "debug" above
Now you wait until the game crashes, and then copy the error message that appears in "minecraft game output".

Fr

How can I copy the error message?

an

Highlight, and then right-click and click Copy

Presumably the misconduct is in red.

Fr

I have Process crashed with exit code 255

an

Hmm, unfortunately, find no concrete solution.

Do you play unmodified Minecraft? And which version? Does it crash synonymous with other versions? And when exactly does it crash? Already at the start, or when you enter a world, or only on certain worlds / servers?

Fr

Unmodified, crashes directly after 5 seconds on all worlds and servers. I have the same problem with all versions

an

Hmm, unfortunately, find no solution.

You seem to have installed Java itself (at least I assume because your version is very up to date), so I'd rather ask: Did you somehow change the path of Java, or just let it install on its default location?

Fr

Pity, did not change the path

an

Ok, then it does not matter.

Have you ever restarted the PC ever since the error occurs? For a user that's fixed.

Another had to update his Intel driver (https://www.intel.de/content/www/de/de/support/detect.html)

Do not think that helps, but try to value.

Fr

Have already done a reboot. I'll try it with the Intel driver update
