Hi, I bought minecraft bedrock today, when I wanted to play with my friends they said they all have the java version. Will there be any problems when I buy the java version because I already have the bedrock?

No, I also got both, and for a while you even got the Bedrock for free if you bought the Java before a certain point in time.
