Minecraft and Ark definitely works.
GTA doesn't.
The host should have enough RAM (ideally 32GB +) and a CPU with enough cores.

With Minecraft you have to make sure that you are already logged into the launcher in order to start it
They are unlikely to install it in the forest. That would then fail on downloading the launcher.
You don't have to, but if you don't save your login, the launcher will ask for your password in the forest when you start it and want to log in for the license check
similar to steam, the data must be saved on the PC, otherwise steam will not log into the forest
