Minecraft water freezes?

Hello in Minecraft the water always freezes when I put it. Can I somehow issue this through a command block or something?

I don't know, but you are welcome to put some glowstone etc. Underneath so that it no longer freezes.

No, celebrated it because there's an ice biome nearby

Place a torch (or other light source) next to it. Then it no longer freezes
