I have had a PC for a long time, and unfortunately my friends "only" have a PS4. I want to play Minecraft with them now, e.g. Survival. Which Minecraft should I buy? Which one of my friends? Do I need a subscription (e.g. XBOX life)?

I don't have a drive, so it should be a download.
