Minecraft together over Ps3 and Ps4?

I wanted to play Minecraft with a good friend. The thing is, however, she has a PS3 and I have a PS4 … Would it work that you can play together despite having different consoles?

The Ps3 has not been supported for years. Therefore there's no crossplay feature for the console. You can only play with Switch, Xbox, Mobile and PC.
