My problem is as follows:
I used to be able to play Ark with the same hardware as now without any problems and I would not know what else to change.
Nevertheless, the game crashes today if I start it under "normal conditions". Means that I have had problems with one or the other game before and now I, if I want to play one of the affected, one of my two graphics cards - Intel (R) HD Graphics 530 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M - disable. I do not even know why, but it works and then I can actually play every game absolutely fluently and without any problems (there are also games (eg R6S) where this is not necessary). Yes… Anyway, Ark is different. Here I can, as previously mentioned, Ark not start at first if I have both active (error message follows). So if I just disable my GeForce via Device Manager I might have 5 FPS if I just disable Intel 10 - 20. Absolutely not playable so. Have been screwed around so synonymous s.die settings but it can't be changed. I actually suspected that my NVIDIA something is wrong, but z. B. In Minecraft - if I disable the Intel - it is almost only on this and then everything runs fine. I suspect they sometimes get in each other's way.
If anyone knows this advice - I would be open to. So and the error message I add here now synonymous, if the who "decrypt" can, so if you can somehow read from where the problem lies - for that I would be grateful.
Is the picture.
Looks like there's a problem with your video card driver, but it could be due to the presence of the iGPU. Put the iGPU in Bios and uninstall the Intel HD drivers.
Then you also flattens the Nvidia driver and downloads the DDU tool from Chip. This tool deletes driver remnants and prevents complications when reinstalling.
Be sure to install the correct Nvidia video driver as well.
So, you play on the laptop, which has 2 graphics cards… One of them is integrated in the processor, the other is a dedicated own Graka i'm Läppi…
So you can disable for ARK only the Intel Graka, because ARK needs a dedicated Graka, so trap the GTX 970 …
Consider, as currently have quite high temperatures, so your Graka's are no longer cooled enough and turn off due to self-protection.
I also have a Lappi with ner gtx 970m and can so wonderful zokken ARK… So it may be due to any settings…
My laptop is a gaming machine (Alienware) and designed to play games…
No one knows what you have in your computer, unfortunately you do not betray it…
The link is cheese, which points to a file on your machine…
If you say so, my laptop is the acer-Predator 17
Sorry, but what is an iGPU and Bios?
I also noticed, s. Other answer.
BIOS> Google…
Igpu = internal graphics card in the i3, i5, i7 or i9
The iGPU is the Intel HD chip that is totally superfluous for you with a GTX 970m. Say you have 2 drivers on it, the ARK does not tolerate well.
The bios is your basic configuration, most of the time you can see it when you turn on your laptop. Since usually comes with the key F2 oer del. Since this can disable iGPU. But that's probably too hard for you. Alternatively, you can disable the Intel HD chip in Device Manager.
Since you unfortunately do not know how to do that, you will have to seek help. Maybe someone in your family or circle of friends.
Why do not you just list your system components instead of letting us search wildly here…
Speccy is a good tool for this…
"Disable Intel HD Chip in Device Manager" sounds exactly like what I always do to play Minecraft.
And uninstall the Intel HD driver, does it work via DDU?
Well, you can uninstall the driver so synonymous, but no DDU need, but that brings nothing. Since the graphics chip is still active and this just receives a standard driver from Microsoft
OK, I've knocked down the Intel now. That with DDU probably referred to the? Or both?
This was not meant to disable the Intel HD chip in Device Manager. With luck, that may be enough.
As already mentioned, I also have such a läppi, even with a worse processor, I think…
And I also play ARK… "-useallavailablecores" and so, makes it possible…
I did not have to disable the video driver…
I have the order in it, it does not help me.
Unfortunately that is not enough; what do you mean "that was not meant for that?"
I'm just on the hose
The error states in the case that there are problems with your graphics unit. More precisely with your driver. Can be caused by many things. However, I advised you this way, as it represents the "cleanest" form.
Well, then just do it this way, just reinstall your Nvidia driver.

Is it normal that whenever I pull down the Intel driver, I have a "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" directly to replace it, even though I still have it on NVIDIA?
Hm, unfortunately, still jerky strong
With which graphics settings do you play?
All low. Although in the past I can play with everything epically and otherwise in other games on high
Oh, it works! Thank you.
60-80 fps now.
have both graphics drivers reinstalled and reinstalliert and now it works with both
