Minecraft is one of the best computer games ever. I'm not really interested in survival mode, but creative mode is great because you can really build anything.
The biggest thing I've built in Minecraft (actually I'm still building on it) is the "Neuer-Burg" (after the Neuerburg of the same name in the village of Neuerburg - I was already there as a passionate Manuel Neuer fan) whose roof is 1 soccer stadium.
And there's a lot of technology in it - both redstone and command blocks (automatic sliding door, elevators, display panel, traffic control system on the motorway next to the castle).
I've been building it for a few months, but not every day. In my case, it is unfortunately no longer possible to precisely convert into working hours.
Enclosed space: approx. 100x70x70 blocks (L * W * H).
What's the biggest project you've built or are currently building in Minecraft?
How many blocks and how many hours of work do you have? (if known)
Are you also tech-savvy when it comes to redstone and command blocks?
I have built a second Earth-like planet that I'm currently on. Just in the range of WLAN.
I only play the Pocket Edition, but the greatest things I've built like this:
- Hotel
- concert hall
- Movie theater
- Ships
- a city
- a football stadium
- an amusement park
In creative mode, I and 2 friends recreated my home village with a scale drink. For this I went through the village with cameras to really capture all the details, we sat there for months.
In Survival we also built a city once, the largest there was the city wall, which we built 10 blocks wide and 85 blocks high, I can no longer say exactly how many blocks that were in total, but everything was dismantled by hand and no cheats or addons were used.
A friend of ours did a lot of work with Redstone and built a variety of things in the creative mode, the biggest one was a 4-in-a-row with 2 game modes, player versus player and player versus Minecraft. You have to say, however, that each action took several minutes to calculate before you could continue ^^
Unfortunately, it was all a few years ago and I don't think that the maps or photos of them exist…
A monastery, but I don't have any pictures of it, I don't build really big things because I'm too much in love with details, that would take forever.
The last thing I built was what was bigger:
Cool
Is there a server where you uploaded your world?
So that you can take a closer look?
So far there's no server.
Once I had built a castle, with carpets or long runners and all the trimmings.
Unfortunately, if you can put it that way, I built a lot of wood out inside so that it should look a little more 'lively'. Thanks to a fire, it burned down to the remaining ruins within minutes. Despite all attempts to extinguish it with water, it was not salvable.
My new castle should actually look like a medieval castle.
But I suspect it looks way too modern. If only because there's 1 automatic sliding door instead of a drawbridge.
Yes, that's one of those things that appeals to you more. My castle was half a castle or a real 'magnificent castle. Had the windows and ledges made really middle-aged and it was really huge, had 'secret passages' and everything your heart desires. I was able to watch the fire for about 5 minutes or it took some time until finally only ruins left. It really hurt my heart, all the work and effort - all in vain. I had been close to completion.
Apparently your fire protection system was as good as the one from BER
From what? XD But yes. If I had suspected that beforehand,. All the work and it turned out really well. Was planning to just work on it briefly and then take screenshots of it. Omg-. It was like a disaster that couldn't be stopped Damn! Lol xD
It wouldn't be difficult to build 1 sprinkler system. Just 1 block of water and something flammable underneath, such as wood. When that burns, the water is released and spreads throughout the building. Or at least on the same floor, then you have to install something like that on every floor.
Oh, I had tried something similar - only in the end it turned into a ruin that seemed to be half built in 'channels and small floods'.
The catch was that even nothing else that was actually combustible like stones suddenly became many or even destroyed due to the constant fire. Ultimately, only a fraction was preserved and a tiny area of the lowest level, where I originally had the 'self-sufficiency' of a small irrigated vegetable garden.
The walls were partly paneled with wood, partly made of stone or similar 'neat', some windows in stained glass and partly 'reinforced' with battlements.
The largest 'bedroom' is a huge 'mansion bed, of course, with a' colored ceiling '. Etc.
There were secret rooms, which could only be reached by trickery, that kept the treasures of the rulership.
