I have been playing Minecraft Pocket Edition for almost a year now and would like to download Minecraft to my PC. What advantages and disadvantages does the Win10 Edition and the Java Edition have? I have already downloaded the trial version of Win10 Edition, but I can't decide which version of Minecraft I should buy.
Java version. Clearly. No idea what this version of Windows10 is.
The Windows 10 Edition you can buy in the Windows Store. This is a C ++ written version of Minecraft. Runs a lot faster than the Java version, unfortunately the modulability is missing

Bedrock Edition may become relevant in three years or so. Apart from that, Java Edition is the only one worth it.
When the Win10 version came out, everyone who had already bought the Java Edition got the Win10 version for free.
I had even months later bought a 2nd Account (Java Edition) and had even there Win 10 Key for free with xD

with the Win10 edition it is the case that you have almost the same game as on your mobile phone, tablet, etc. I would highly recommend that to you in your gaming experience with this engine.
BUT: if you buy the Java edition, you will get a free key for the Win10 edition! That means I would unlock the Java Edition kafen + for free, even the Win10 edition.

You go to the http://mojang.com/...mojang.com and log in there with your Minecraft account. There's a page called "My Games" or something similar, where you will receive a gift code for the Win10 edition.

You get the key if you sign up for Mojang at Mojang.com then the key should not be overlooked
