What's up with my Minecraft (switch)?

Hi

The same message has been coming back for months when I play my Minecraft on a certain account: "Error! The software has ended". Then it switches directly to the home menu. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft, restarted the system and also searched for (nonexistent) updates, but nothing worked. Oddly enough, I can play on the other accounts, only with my main account this error message comes up again and again. Incidentally, I play the Better Together version and it is up to date. In addition, this error message only comes up when the Minecraft title screen appears, then I can "play" it for a few seconds until this error message comes up. Can someone help me?

PS: A few months ago everything worked fine, then suddenly this message came.

I had that for a certain time, and it still happens sometimes. After I opened a world, it just ended like yours. I tried it very often, and then it worked again, ka why. But I think only waiting helps. (I know stupid tip 😅)

By the way, I bought it at a shop.

Hope it helps that you're not the only one.

General information about crazy errors in an operating system. Here is an example of a PC with Windows 10:

Microsoft updates its operating system at irregular intervals. If the hardware drivers are not adapted from time to time, it can happen that the crazy errors occur.
The same applies to the installed software. Again, it may be necessary to adjust them from time to time. Of course, this must be supported by the manufacturer.
If the software can't be adapted, it sometimes helps to reduce the compatibility setting to the last working version.
If all of this does not help, it helps to wait until the next update has fixed the error, or there's a completely different error.

The other mistake with the same occurrence:

Crashes or old hard drives can lead to changes in the software. Some stand out immediately, others only through further errors elsewhere or… → Only hard disk helps here to check for errors. If it is no longer fit, replace it. And of course, whether hard drive is good or bad, software must be completely re-installed.
