Terraria a minecraft fake?

Someone once told me terraria was a minecraft fake. I don't think so, but how do you see it?

I don't really know Terraria, but don't think it's a fake Minecraft. Minecraft can't really be faked in the sense that you just can't get the original.

It is impossible that Minecraft is a Terraria Fake, since Minecraft has been around for a long time.
