Buy Xbox one game digitally?

Here's what I want to know: I want Minecraft Story Mode's 2nd season. The media market does not have it, of course I could order it but I wonder how that would be digital.

If I make a new account at some point (or an account is hacked or something) then the game is gone, right?

What are the pros and cons between digital and disc? What should I do?

I would be new that there are the individual seasons as a disc version. I only knew them as in-game purchases. By the way, this one would not be gone when changing, because the purchase would be connected to your account. My recommendation would be the in-game purchase, because a disc version is simply unknown to me and the purchase would be connected to your account and not a disc.
