Minecraft seed does not work?

I started a map on the PS3 about 6 7 years ago and have looked at it again after a long time, so what did I build and so on.

Then I thought that I would create a new map with exactly the same seed to see how it looked before.

What came out of it was not the same map though it's the same seed.

Can this be?

The seed only works on the same function…

You would have to generate the world in exactly the same version as before, so that the same result comes out…

Yes you have to be 1. In the same version and if that does not work you copy the world where you built everything 😉

What's in it for copying?

Your old world so the built remains but in addition a new is created without built
