Would be the most imaginable. There was already an end, heaven the players already have a mod, only cave there's nothing big yet
But I would find the real thing even better
I don't see any difference between ray tracing and shaders + high-resolution TPs
Oh yes, the difference is huge. You can use tricks, but you will never be able to imitate real RayTracing!
Nothing will come of it, but most likely a cave update, because the next update (1.17) there will probably get an update for the mountains. And mountains are very similar to mines / caves, so it is not unlikely that there will be a cave update in 1.18 or maybe 1.17 already😉.
The mountain update that you promised at Minecon.
Or the combat update that you've been working on for over a year.
I consider everything else to be improbable.
Well, the players already had a lot about a mod, but that was added to the vanilla game anyway. Horses, funnels, slim blocks, … In the past, everything was just a mod
From that point of view this is not a real argument. They often incorporate mod features into the vanilla game. XD

Definitely snow on the peaks. And "Snowier Snow", whatever that means.
And I personally think that the mountains are (if you are in the middle of the biome, it looks better from the outside) not pointed enough, and often too flat and too rocky.
I could have guessed it myself. But then it will probably not be such a game-changing update as the Nether Update and (if it comes) the cave update.
