I've asked a similar question before. Now I'm a lot smarter, but I wanted to know one little thing here. If I now have Minecraft on the iPad and "said girlfriend" too, are you sure that we can then play 100% together? So even if we don't have the same iPad? And the MOST IMPORTANT… Can we play together even if we're not in the same WLAN? So I'm at home and they are about 5 kilometers away.
You can play together locally, but you need a server externally
In what way a server? How do I create it?
This is the Pocket Edition. With XBox live you can usually play together externally.
You can play Minecraft together if it is the current normal Minecraft. You only have to create an Xbox Live account to play together. You can even be in other countries and still play together.
It just won't work if you have what is known as the "Pocket Edition".
Does this account cost something extra?
No.
