Minecraft Java Edition = Microsoft Edition?

I bought Minecraft Java Edition a long time ago and have seen that my friends have been playing Minecraft again lately, but on the Microsoft Edition with realms. When I go to the mojang page there's a reedem code when I use it says that I have redeemed the code but can't find the game anywhere. Is that the one for Microsoft Edition or do I have to buy it again?
