Minecraft Optifine 2 different versions?

I would like to use Optifine for both 1.15.2 and 1.16.3.

I already have that for the 1.15.2 and have been using it for a long time. But somehow I have problems with setting up the 1.16.3 (download worked).

Would it be possible to delete the 1.15.2 version again in order to be able to use the other one. The 1.16.3 version would be more important to me.

Is it not possible to use it for 2 versions or can you help me in other ways?

What is not working on setting up for the 1.16.3? Normally you only have to start and close the MC version once, download and install Optifine and then select 1.16.3 with Optifine in the launcher
