Hi, I have had a certain problem with my PC for a long time. Namely that I keep getting a black screen and then it says on my screen: HDMI 1 cable not found. When I restart my PC, it still says "HDMI 1 cable not found", I always have to unplug and plug in my main plug (I have a multiple socket) and then everything works again and shortly afterwards it crashes again… Must then always for a few hours wait and can then continue playing normally until it happens again
Then I tried different options:
- Hdmikabel made in Hdmi 2
- Hdmikabel changed
- Multiple plugs changed
- Tested different games, then saw that games that need less power, such as Minecraft, almost never show the black screen. But again with high-performance games such as CoD and etc. It often crashes. It's very extreme at Fortnite… My PC crashes after half a lap.
My guess now is whether it is either on the screen or on the graphics card (have an Rtx2070) or on the fans, so that the PC then just overheats
Your power supply is probably too weak. Or certain components get too hot.
Is that an upgrade or a clean installed windows 10?
