Minecraft PE doesn't make any sounds?

Hi so I'm playing Minecraft on my iPad and somehow I can't hear any sounds. Everything else in music etc. Works on the iPad but the Minecraft sounds don't. I've already re-installed Minecraft and the sounds are on but it still doesn't work. Anyone with ideas or tips?
