Is WQHD worth it?

Moin Meistäää,

I'm currently putting together my setup and now do not know which screen to take. You can choose between an https://geizhals.de/...ml?hloc=de monitor, an https://geizhals.de/...ml?hloc=de monitor and an https://geizhals.de/...ml?hloc=de monitor. Now I don't know which of the monitors would suit me.

I would buy an RX 5700 XT and play games like Minecraft, Shooter and OWGs like Forza Horizon 4. What would be best for my budget? I could buy all three (one of the three).

The GPU packs WQHD, 240Hz is not worth it as much as 144Hz compared to 60. At 27 ", FullHD is quite pixelated.

Is it really worth it? Because I wouldn't pay much attention to the rest of the look

Is something like a few years ago do I need flicker-free and blue light filter?

Un

What came out of it? I've only been active for a year

Flickerfree and blue light filter

You will hardly ever get 240fps and will not get there in the beginning so a wqhd monitor with 144hz is worthwhile

Ke

1080p240Hz or 1440p144Hz are not exactly different now.

Ki

But it will never reach the 240hps even in 1080p, at 1440p and 144hz you can achieve it every now and then so it is more worthwhile

Ke

Definitely WQHD in size. This grabs the graphics card in many games, you don't have to have a constant 144 FPS in the game, you won't regret the increased resolution. 240 Hz may sound nice, but if you can hardly see your opponent from a distance with 1080p, that doesn't do much.

I wouldn't take 1080p anymore, especially not with a potent graphics card like the RX 5700 XT. I have a WQHD with 165HZ which I run at 144Hz. I already had a 4K60 and a 1080p 240Hz monitor. Have a 1080ti, Ryzen 1700X, 32GB RAM

240Hz is nice in CS: GO, but in most games you won't get anywhere near 240fps even in 1080p. Going down to 144Hz again wasn't as hard as going from 144Hz to 60Hz.

I then had a 4K60 monitor. Of course it's much crisper than 1080p, but it's a strange feeling to have to play at 60Hz again.

Then I'm on a WQHD with 165HZ that runs on 144Hz. 144Hz is simply much more pleasant to play than 60Hz and the jump from 4K to 1440p is not that big and is still much sharper than 1080p.
