I have sounds everywhere in Minecraft, only when it rains, not then. Even thunderstorms I hear, but not the sound of the rain. What can I do, preferably without reinstalling?
Options> Music and sounds> Weather
The controller for the option "Weather" is already at 100%.
Apparently then the file was damaged, which includes the sound for the rain.
Either you can find this file and replace it (copy from other installation and paste it with you)
OR
you reinstall the game. All necessary files will be downloaded again and you should have your sounds back.
Of course you should save your worlds before, so that they are not lost.
Have you ever reinstalled Minecraft? Do you use a shader and / or resource pack, if so it may be because of that.
