Get more FPS in Rise of the tomb raider than in minecraft?

So today I got a new video card (RX 580) and wanted to try a few games. Rise of the tomb raider ran very smoothly on high and 1080p. But Minecraft still gets FPS Drops. I would like to play with shaders, but that's bad.

Press F3 and see if Minecraft also uses the RX.

ap

Yes, there's Radeon RX 580 Series

Many shader packages for Minecraft are not well optimized, so they need an incredible amount of power from your graphics card.

But there are also many pretty shaders that need little power. Google you the times.

Edit: I read again more closely and see that you have problems without shaders.

Minecraft should run at your card (depending on the processor and RAM) at 1080p at 200fps. Do you have current drivers?

What's the rest of the system?

ap

Ryzen 5 2400g, 16gb 3200mhz ram, 240gb ssd, 1tb hdd, B450 Elite and 500w power supply. Have the recommended drivers for the card taken

ra

Yes that's really strange. How deep will the fps drop?

ra

I also have the 2400G and have disabled in the BIOS, the iGPU, so there will be no problems under any circumstances.

I advise you the standard things:

BIOS update

Chipset drivers

Install Minecraft on the SSD

ap

With shaders I have on average 20-30 fps, and without shader 60-80 and partially drops on the 30s: /

Okay thanks, disable either chipset driver or disable IGPU hats pretty much

ra

Have fun playing.
