I gave this software to my daughter, somehow as a download. Now she claims there's Java and bedrock. - And bedrock is bad. I'm totally surprised, I don't play the game and I can't know everything.
Can't play with Minecraft bedrock with others?
There's the original Java version developed by Mojang. When Microsoft took over Mojang, they developed a C ++ version for their devices, which is more powerful, but has many functions, is poorly modded, and can't connect to the free Bukkit / Spigot servers.
Most of the players on the computer use the Java version.
There are two versions of Minecraft, the Java version and the Bedrock version.
The Java version is the original version of the game and is only limited to the PC, so that you could only meet other PC players in online games. There's also a larger selection of extras for this version that can be downloaded from the Internet. Most PC gamers also use this version.
The Bedrock version, on the other hand, is the version that allows you to play on PC along with cell phone and console players. There are various extras in a shop that you have to buy with real money.
Which version is better is always a matter of taste, some find the Java version better, others the Bedrock version
You don't even have to understand certain things. All you have to know is that the original game is based on Java. Everything from Bedrock Edition, Mobile Edition to Realms and blabla is well… Like an improved demo version I would say, but not the real Minecraft. It may be better suited for certain purposes, for what I don't know exactly.
Wow. Wow. Wow.
If you have any further questions about the differences or a specific version, please feel free to contact me
Java is the "original" version. With all the possibilities for expansion. Say:
Mods = modifications for new game content developed by other players.
Texture packs = make the game look different. More realistic, more colorful, there are no limits to the imagination.
Skins = change the appearance of the character in the game
While Bedrock offers all or most of it as paid content.
Basically the same game. These different versions exist, however, because Microsoft bought Mojang (the developers of Minecraft). For a lot of money, which of course has to come from somewhere now.
The Java version costs one time and nothing more afterwards. For any gimmicks. In addition, many servers (worlds in which you play mini-games with other players or erect buildings) are only compatible with the Java version.
At least if the server doesn't support the Bedrock Edition (Jagut… Most don't do either…) ^^
There's a variant of Java, the original variant of Minecraft. This has the advantage of offering a lot more content in the form of modifications, but it is not as stable as the so-called Bedrock Edition. This is more stable, i.e. More fluid, but does not offer the modifications, so extra content must be purchased with real money. Advantage: While in the Java version you can only play with people who also have this version, with the Bedrock version you can also play with people who have Minecraft on their consoles or mobile phones. On the PC, however, I would rather prefer the Java version.
She has a Lenovo laptop Ryzen 5 and SSD Win10 … Fine part.
Of course, both variants then run on it.
Little daughter develops into a princess…
Bedrock Version * has to be the name of the first sentence.
Yeah, maybe it was different
