Difference difference between Minecraft and Minecraft link?

As you can probably imagine, I do not play both games, but I would be interested in the difference between the two games I have already tried google but I have not found out why I will try my luck here

These are not two versions of the same game.

Minecraft Link is just a modpack for Minecraft. So you need Minecraft to play this modpack. Modpacks are generally free. The Minecraft Link Modpack can be found in the Technic Launcher under http://www.technicpack.net
