Playable on all devices after buying Minecraft?

If I buy the Minecraft Windows 10 version for my PC, is it also free / bought on my iPhone and / or tablet? After all, it's the same version (Bedrock). I would really like to buy Minecraft Bedrock because almost all of my friends play on the phone, but it plays better on the PC. Could I then play on my iPhone 6s after buying it?

No I do not think so

So

No, that doesn't work, but I would also advise against the Bedrock edition because you can't mod there and skins etc… Cost money. Then prefer Java.

Hu

No. It's all Bedrock, but it's different platforms. You have to buy it every time

Hu

You can get modern in the marketplace and on Bedrock for mobile phones, you can create your own skins for free and you have accessories for your skin that you unlock through success

So

Wow, great, you have to spend money on mods. In addition, you can't play on the Java Edition Server.

Hu

Yes, but you have Java Bedrock server crossplay, so you can play together with Java on the same server. And on Java you have to spend money on some mods

So

No you don't have to, all Java mods are actually free unless you want something very specific and go to Fiveer and let you program it.

The crossplay you are talking about belongs only to realm servers, you can't connect to eg hypixel, gomme, etc with a Bedrock client

Ma

I already have Java

Hu

For now. Hypixel is a Java Bedrock server. And that doesn't work with realms, because there are Java Realms and Bedrock Realms. Java-Bedrock-Crossplay works with very specific servers of its own

So

As you said, only with "very specific" servers or only with a few. Most of the servers are not crossplay capable.

In general, the concept of the Bedrock edition is pretty stupid, you have to spend money on mods, (good) skinns, texture packs, etc…

Actually every Minecraft fan who has been around a little longer will tell you that Bedrock is the last.

Hu

So. I've been playing for 8 years and for me java and bedrock have always been equally good. Each version has its advantages and disadvantages. In Bedrock, for example, you have an in-game skin creator and mash-up packages. Overall I would say Java is the modder friendly version and Bedrock is the version for the vanilla gamers.

Hu

In addition, Java and Bedrock will become the same over the years and with update 1.30 or even 2.10, who knows, they will be identical.
