What to do about my cell phone addiction?

I (m / 12) have had the problem for months that I'm simply HANDSOME. Every day I play Minecraft and other games. Every time I beep, I get my cell phone out. The only place where I see (fortunately) no mobile phone is the school. How can I get rid of this addiction?

Play with your buddies Mobile phone throw on the next river. Then you're rid of this unnecessary piece of technology.

XD good idea

These things will only make you dependent. We once had a candidate who came 10 minutes late for the interview, because the cell phone battery was empty and thus the sat nav did not work. He was sent home immediately.

OK then. Ok, but let's get to the Alster!

You see, today's parents do not know how to treat their children differently.

With 12 you should not even own a mobile phone in my opinion.

My children, like myself, only get their first mobile phone at the age of 16 and only when I see that they can deal differently and the grades at school are good enough.

But to answer your question: Give your phone to your parents and tell them you do not want to have the phone until you can deal with something else.

Ja

You can't do anything, but you need knowledge and awareness.

This affects millions of young people, because the mobile phone is an integral part of their lives and replace many devices. You also become dumb, if you do a lot with a cell phone, that is undoubtedly proven.

You have to become aware! You have to realize that a beep, whether call or SMS, will make you react like a Pavlovian dog. Google! You have to learn, willingly not be able to react to it!

This is the same with your thoughts: your mind (voice in the head) thinks: Check the mails or Facebook and then you do it. You have to resist that voice. Not always, no, just learning it, you understand, that's only possible with awareness and watching yourself.

You make with the phone so no real experience, but only wipes over a glass, you can imagine that because certain things just do not develop.

So instead of looking at a tree in nature and touching it, you're just looking at it virtually, which gives much less nerve stimulation in your brain than when you're facing the real thing! That's just an example.

Look at what the professor Manfred Spitzer reported about it (Youtube) then you get an idea of the impact. Of course, only if you endure it!
