Minecraft paintings are invisible?

So I play Minecraft in creative mode, and when I hang a painting, there's simply nothing, so no painting is there. But when I then click on the block behind the painting to dismantle it, it does not dismantle itself, only the painting, which can't be seen there. I hope you understand what I mean. It is as if the painting is there, but invisible. Is that just a bug - if so - how can I fix it?

An update just came out in the BE and it was said that it was fixed, install the update and then say whether it worked

No. Enter "Microsoft Store" at the bottom of the taskbar and go there. Then you will see an arrow in the upper right corner. Then you press it and update Minecraft😁
