Can someone tell me if I can install a shader on the Xbox One S for minecraft (bedrock edition)?
And if so, how?
Would appreciate answers.
NO
if you mean these "fancy" packs with raytracing-like effects that currently work with Bedrock on Windows 10 with Nvidia Grakas, then you can forget about that for the Xbox One. There are some packs that have, for example, moving leaves and plants, as well as waves hitting water, yes they work on the one, damn it, even on the mobile phone, but those packs with perfectly cast shadows that are extremely dynamic (so that, for example, shadows through yours Moving figures or moving leaves are thrown accordingly) is available at Bedrock at least ONLY on Windows 10, and ONLY if you have installed a compatible Nvidia graphics card. The Xbox One just doesn't do that. What do you think why the release of the Super Duper graphics package (presented in 2017 - looked great) was canceled? - There are, however, cheap, very bad looking "shader" packs. Websites like MCPEdl.com offer such garbage, I wouldn't recommend these packs to you - and watch out, the download links for the packs sometimes lead to a website of the supposed creator of the pack who then also charges money so that you can download it.
With the Xbox Series consoles, however, it will soon be so far that you can activate ray tracing, but unfortunately I don't know when it will come or how. Especially the "how"…
Okay all right, thank you! Has helped me.
